Vaso Carbono Collection
The minimalist Vaso carbono collection maintains the same distinctive shape as Domingos Tótora’s Vaso formigueiro collection, but now in a rich, dark shade resembling natural carbon created by a mixture of mineral pigments. Inspired by organic forms that define the landscape of Minas Gerais, where Tótora’s studio is located, this collection embodies both the strength and beauty of nature’s designs. The surface resembles the texture of stone, but in contrast feels very smooth and warm.
Available in five sizes, the vases continue Tótora’s commitment to sustainability, the central theme of his work. Made from recycled cardboard, each piece is a testament to the designer’s philosophy of creating art with respect for the environment.

Meet the Artist
Domingos Tótora is a Brazilian designer from Minas Gerais. A characteristic theme in Tótora’s work is that of sustainability, of exploring ways to produce objects with respect for our environment. Domingos is the founder of the Studio Domingos Tótora, a place where nature meets contemporary design. Located in the rolling green mountains of Maria da Fé, Brazil, it is the ideal setting for the designer to concretise his ideas. The main source material Domingos uses, is recycled cardboard, which serves as a base for art objects, sculptural pieces and even furniture. Totora’s designs breathe sustainability, timelessness and serenity. The neutral ochre and deep earthy red tones in his work represent the colour of the earth in the rural areas of his home country.
