With Riga-Riga, the design gesture is combined with the precision of handcrafted inlay in a distinctive geometric pattern, which takes shape from the contrast between stained ash and ground coloured glass elements.
This strongly expressive pattern gives the collection its name, transforming surfaces into true decorative compositions and bringing three-dimensionality and rhythm to volumes
MDF frame veneered in open-pore lacquered ash in black or amaranth, available with back-painted tone-on-tone glass inserts or in specific colour combinations.
The black version can be made either with black glass inserts, or with mint and sky glass inserts.
The amaranth version can be made either with amaranth glass inserts, or with ivory and coral glass inserts.
Adjustable internal shelves in tempered extra-clear glass.
On request it is possible to integrate a neutral LED light source inside the cupboard.

Meet the Designer
A designer and visual artist born in 1962, Pierre Charpin graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Bourges in 1984. He has been granted many awards for his work.
Pierre is also a scenographer. In 2010, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs entrusted him with the scenography of the “Mobiboom” exhibition.
A number of monographic exhibitions have been dedicated to Charpin:”Pierre Charpin, 20 années de travail” at Grand-Hornu Image (Belgium), “Villégiature” at Villa Noailles (within the framework of the Design Parade Festival), “La part du dessin” at Ecal (Switzerland), “Atmosfera” at Sfera Exhibitions Kyoto (Japan), and “From the studio” at Designart Tokyo (Japan).
The work of Charpin is part of numerous cultural institutions and museums, such as the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain, the Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
After living in Milan at various intervals during the 1990s, he works in Ivry-sur-Seine and lives in Paris.
He has been working with Zanotta since 2010.
