Applauso is a bronze sculpture by Raffaella Benetti. It is one of the protagonists of a project named Les Danseuses – The Dancers – together with Danseuse and Danzatrice. The project is an observation and portrayal of the feminine in an exalted way. It shows us the Dancers’ reality, their spontaneous and authentic way of life. The ensemble of Dancers reveals the process of metamorphosis, the secret of the internal life and the spiritual tension of our time.

Applauso is an elegant and sensuously shaped bronze sculpture. Raffaella’s bronzes are beautifully texturised and skillfully patinated, which gives them a rich hue.

Gardeco bronze sculptures are cast using the lost wax method. Applauso is a limited edition bronze sculpture, each piece is numbered and signed.

  • Meet the Designer

    Raffaella Benetti is an Italian artist with a background in painting, sculpture and photography. She also has a rooting interest in philosophy and literature, which is why she incorporates spirituality and mysticism into her work. Rafaella researches the interaction between colour and light from an artistic point of view, this has led her to experiment with noble materials such as gold and silver.
