Simone Bonanni was born in Pordenone and he is a product designer based in Milan. After graduating from the Istituto Europeo di Design and working for three years at Marcel Wanders Studio in Amsterdam, he returned to Italy in 2015 to found Simone Bonanni Studio (SBS).For Simone, the aesthetics of a product arise from a deep understanding of its role within society and through a conscious synthesis of function, context, and meaning. In his work, these factors continuously evolve and interact, shaping a relationship between object and user that is first affective and then physical.His design approach places strong emphasis on the communicative power of form and on the ability of objects to convey meaning. Simone’s work has been featured in major international magazines and online platforms.He has been working with Zanotta since 2026.
